The purpose of the research is to examine the effect of institutional ownership on the sustainability of profits of companies listed on the Tehran Stock Exchange. This research is applied in terms of its purpose and descriptive-analytical in terms of its method. Its variables have been examined using library studies and internet studies. The statistical population of the present study consists of all companies listed on the Tehran Stock Exchange that have been active on the exchange during the years 2014 to 2019. In order to determine the appropriate sample size from this population, 145 companies have been selected using the systematic elimination method and sampling restrictions. Also, all steps have been carried out in the IViews software with a panel regression test. The results show that institutional ownership has a positive and significant effect on the sustainability of profits of companies listed on the Tehran Stock Exchange
