The present study aimed to investigate the relationship between personality traits and parenting patterns of parents on students' creativity. The research method is a descriptive correlational type. The statistical population includes all male and female students of the second year of secondary school (first, second and third grades of secondary school) in District 15 of Tehran (500 parents and students) who are studying in schools of education in District 15 of Tehran in the academic year 1402-1403. Using the Morgan table and the available sampling method, 80 female students of the second secondary schools, the sample size was 49% (39 people) and male students of the second secondary schools, the sample size was 51% (41 people) were selected as the sample. In the present study, the parenting style questionnaire, the NEO personality traits questionnaire, and the Torrance creativity questionnaire (1979) were used. The results of the analysis showed that the personality traits and parenting patterns of parents had a significant effect on students' creativity.
